Related information for Winter 2018 series

More from Stan, today here are a few websites I recommend checking out if anybody wants related information to some of the L.L.L. Winter, 2018 future lecture series topics.

1.  www.popularmechanics.com/science'..11 Crazy Gene-Hacking Things We Can Do with CRISPR.
This cited web article focuses on 11 ways that transformative gene editing technology like CRISPR are capable of radically transforming the normally slow biological evolutionary processes found in plants, animals and now humans.

The website: www. sciencedaily.com has an interesting article entitled, 3D Printed Living Bacterium.

2. On the L.L.L. topic related to the politics of rewriting history the website THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE.NET is a website worth checking out. Look for the article entitled, "How and why does history get rewritten?"

3. The L.L.L. lecture on cybersecurity, privacy and democracy drew me two interesting web articles from two different parts of the world as follows:
A. Go to the website - Asian Tribune and seek out the article entitled, "Edward Snowden's Wake-Up Call: Cyber Security, Surveillance and Democracy by S. G. Voobakere. Vol. 12, No. 2049.

B. Go to www.chathamhouse.org and and www.internetsociety.org, websites and and seek out the article entitled, "A Brave New World: How the Internet Affects Societies".
This web site features up-to-date news and articles about Internet Society, Cybersecurity and other Internet public policy concerns from around the globe.

Finally, for anybody who wants an excellent Community Resource Guide for Kingston and the Islands contact the Office of M.P.P. Sophie Kiwala at skiwal.mpp.co.@liberal.ola.org; or, contact Ms. Kiwala at her office at 613-547-2385. Copies of this Community Resource Guide have been recently placed in local libraries.
